Restorative yoga is a practice that allows the body to rest deeply whilst still recieving the physiological benefits of a yoga practice. The postures are all floor based, often using props to support the body whilst still creating improved flexibility, better breathing efficiency, enhanced circulation and reduced stress hormone levels. 

As well as restorative yoga postures, we will explore somatic movement practices for resource and regulation and end with a yoga nidra (deep relaxation). This course is perfect for complete beginners as well as those who would like to work more therapeutically, need a gentle practice and to invite the body to rest deeply in a trauma sensitive way.
